1. Respect for Privacy
What’s shared in our community—whether in person, in classes, or online—stays within the community.
-
Do not share or disclose anyone’s personal information, identity, or story without their explicit consent.
-
Outing someone’s gender identity, sexuality, or other private details is strictly prohibited.
2. Kindness and Respect
We welcome everyone to show up as they are.
-
Treat all members, teachers, and staff with kindness and respect.
-
Listen with empathy and speak with care.
-
Disagreements are natural—disrespect is not.
3. Zero Tolerance for Harmful Behavior
We do not tolerate bullying, harassment, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind. This includes comments or actions based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, ability, or any personal identity. If any harmful behavior takes place your membership will be discontinued and you will be asked to leave The qWeb.
4. Safe and Supportive Environment
Our goal is to create a supportive space for learning, creativity, and connection.
If someone’s words or actions make you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please reach out to a staff member privately—we take all concerns seriously.
5. Accountability
We reserve the right to revoke membership or remove access for anyone who violates these guidelines. We believe in growth and understanding, but protecting our community always comes first.
